In the event of a fault, the following error codes may appear on your ZMAX device:
LOR - Atomizer/cartomizer resistance is too low
LOU - Battery voltage is too low, replace or charge battery
WSC - Short circuit in faulty atomizer/cartomizer
Increasing voltage :
1. Press the button 3 times in a row until "1.Uu" is shown on the display.
2. When "1.Uu" is shown on the display, leave the button idle for 2 seconds. The display will change to show the last voltage selected.
3. Once the voltage is displayed, each time you press the button the voltage will be increased with 0.1V. You can also hold the button to scroll . When you reach 6.0V, it will rotate back to 3.0 and go up again.
4. When you have reached the desired voltage level , leave the button idle for 2 seconds. The setting will be saved and VV will resume normal operation.
Decreasing the voltage :
1. Press the button 4 times in a row until "2.Ud" is shown on the display .
2. When "2.Ud" is shown on the display , leave the button idle for 2 seconds. The display will change to show the last voltage selected.
3. Once the voltage is displayed, each time you press the button the voltage will be decreased with 0.1V . You can also hold the button to scroll . When you reach 3.0V, it will rotate back to 6.0 and go up again.
4. when you have reached the desired setting, leave the button idle for 2 second. The setting will be saved and VV will resume normal operation.
Power On/Off:
1. Press the button 5 times in a row until "3.SO" is shown on the display.
2. When "3.So" is shown on the display, leave the button idle for 2 seconds. The display will show the last setting, on or off .
4. Each time you press the button the display will toggle between on/off.
4. When you have reached the desired setting, leave the button idle for 2 seconds. If you selected "OF" the VV will go into standby mode.
If you make a mistake, just press the button 5 times in a row and you will be able to make another change.
Battery Check:
1. Press the button 6 times in a row until 4.UC is shown on the display.
2. When 4.UC is shown on the display, leave the button idle for 2 seconds, the digital display will show your battery voltage measurement.
3. The battery voltage will be displayed for 2 seconds, then the display will turn off.
Display Information Setting During Vaping:
1. Press the button 7 times in a row until 5.DS is shown on the display,
2. When 5.DS is shown on the display, leave the button for 2 seconds, the display will show the current setting: DO, DU or DR.
3. Each time you press the button, the setting will toggle among "DO" "DU" or "DR" ,
4. When "DO" is chosen, leave the button idle for 2 seconds, the setting will be saved and the display will show your atomizer working output voltage during your vaping;
5. When "DU" is chosen, leave the button idle for 2 second, the setting will be saved and the display will show your battery voltage during your vaping.
6. When "DR" is chosen, leave the button idle for 2 seconds, the setting will be saved and the display will show your atomizer resistance during your vaping.
It's normal for your atomizer/cartomizer to activate at a very low voltage while in Ohms mode. This allows the Zmax to check the resistance.
LED On/Off
1. Press the button 8 times in a row until "6.LO" is shown on the display.
2. When 6.LO is shown on the display, leave the button idle for 2 seconds, the display will show the current setting: ON/OFF .
3. Each time you press the button, the setting will toggle between on/off.
4. When you have reached the desired setting, leave the button idle for 2 seconds. The setting will be saved and VV will resume normal operation.
Up--Voltage power
In this mode you can adjust the power down to save button clicks.
It's got the same functionality of the power up except each time you press the button it will lower the power.
Default is auto check . Press the button 9 times in a row until 7.Up is shown on the display .
When Po is shown,it reads your Zmax constant power operation
When Uo is shown,it reads your Zmax constant voltage operation
Once the power is displayed, each time you press the button the wattage will advance to the next higher setting:3.0,3.5,4.0 etc
If your variable power is 10.ow, display show 100 watts, highest watts show 150 means 15w.
When you reach 3.0 it will rotate back around to 150 and go down again.
When you have reached the desired setting leave the button idle for 2 seconds. The setting will be saved and the Zmax will resume normal operation .
Other Functions
Low Battery Indicator --- When the battery gets low the red lighted pushbutton will slowly flash indicating that your battery is weak.
When the battery is out of power, the led will flash rapidly and the device will turn off to protect from over discharge. At this time, please recharge the battery.Short-circuited Atomizer/Cartomizer --- If there is ever a problem with your atomizer/cartomizer,the device will alert you by displaying a error code on the LED display
Please fix the problem or replace the atomizer/cartomizer ,the device will resume normal operation.
Error Codes
LOR---Lower resistance indication; If the resistance is below 1.2ohm,the display will show "Low Load".
LOU---Lower voltage indication. If one 18650 battery voltage is below 3.4V or 2 18350 batteries Superposition voltage is below 6.4v,the display will show"Low Voltage".
WSC---Short circuit indication.If cartomizer/atomizer output port short-circuit,the display will show"Warning Short Circuit".
